I am movement—more than muzek, more than words, more than art. This isn’t just about sound; it’s about action. It’s the rhythm of transformation, the pulse of change, the beat of becoming. Grateful to have you on this journey. – Jess That Dope
The Vision Behind the Muzek
Jessica “Jess That Dope” Georges
Born in Miami, Florida, to Haitian parents, I am a first-generation American who once struggled to find belonging and acceptance. As a young girl, I found refuge in writing, using words to navigate the world around me. That journey of self-discovery led me to study the history of my mother’s land, Ayiti, where I began to understand not just where I came from but who I am.
In 2019, I officially launched my musical career with the release of Dessalines 1804, a song honoring my mother and the revolutionary spirit of Ayiti. This marked the foundation of my purpose, using muzek as a tool to inspire transformation. Every song I create carries intentional messaging designed to encourage others to Evolve and Elevate, spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, and financially.
But my work is more than muzek. I am a speaker, moderator, host, event curator, workshop facilitator, and a natural connector. I use every aspect of who I am to help others uncover who they are. Through storytelling, music, and curated experiences, I empower individuals and organizations to own their narratives with confidence. As a certified Life Transformation Coach, I guide others in embracing their personal journeys, ensuring that every word I write, present, and speak is intentional and impactful.
I now call Houston home and I' m working on new muzek projects and events for 2025—continuing the mission of evolution and, elevation to self-discovery.
This is More Than Muzek.
